Can you store mycelium in fridge?
Once the mycelium has established and grown out across the slant you are ready for long term storage. Store the slants in a zip lock bag in the fridge. Do not let them freeze. After 6 months check on the quality and appearance of the mycelium.
How do you keep mycelium alive?
If they dry out a little, adding water to rehydrate them while cooking is easy enough. If you are not using the mushrooms for awhile, place them in a dehydrator or sun dry them and store in a tight jar or bag and they will last for years! Regarding this, how do you water a mushroom?
